Please carefully read the instructions before assembling and using the product. Keep the instructions for future reference.
Be careful when unpacking and assembling the product.
Do not step or stand on the back of the trike frame, as this can overturn the product.
Trike modes: Warning! Not to be used by children over 36 months; insufficient strength to support.
Maximum child’s weight: 15kg for infant trike; 20kg for other modes.
Do not use on wet days or on wet ground.
This product must be assembled by a responsible adult.
Remove all the parts which are not necessary for play before giving the product to your child.
How to assemble and transform the Explorer Trike Foldable 4in1
A. Assembling the INFANT TRIKE (10-36 months)

To unfold the legs of the rear wheels, use the red buttons on the rear of the trike frame. Press and hold the red button to rotate the corresponding leg until it is fully extended (you hear a click). Release the button to lock the leg securely in place. Repeat the procedure on the other leg.

Align the front wheel fork with the trike frame and insert the steering shaft of the fork through the frame.

Hold the handlebars above the trike frame, making sure the front is facing forward, away from the saddle. Align the steering shaft of the fork with the column of the handlebars, and push the handlebars down firmly until the parts lock into place with a click.

Insert the rear wheels into the legs so that the wheels are facing outward and the parking devices are facing up towards the ceiling, and push firmly until the wheels click into place.

To install the saddle:
- a. Open the lever of the clamp at the top of the trike frame.
- b. Press and hold the spring-loaded button on the bottom of the seat post, insert the seat post into the trike frame and push the saddle down until the spring-loaded button passes completely through the trike frame.
- c. Press the spring-loaded button on the bottom of the seat post and lower the saddle until the spring-loaded button on the top of the seat post locks into the trike frame at the “MAX” level mark. This position is the high setting of the saddle. The saddle can be adjusted into 2 heights (33cm/ 36cm).
- d. For infant trike, set the saddle to the low position. To adjust the saddle to the low position, press the black button on the clamp and push the saddle all the way down.
- e. Close the lever of the clamp to lock the saddle securely in place.

Press and hold the red pedal release tab on the front wheel hub, insert the pedal into the hub aligning the slot in the pedal with the guide in the hub, release the tab and push the pedal in (until you hear a click). Repeat the procedure on the other pedal. Check that the pedals are locked securely in place.

To attach the footrest, hold the footrest under the seat post with the wings pointing forward. Press the spring-loaded button on the bottom of the seat post and push the footrest onto the post until the spring-loaded button clicks into the hole in the footrest. Turn the knob under the footrest 90 degrees to lock the footrest securely in place.
Make sure the footrest is securely locked before each use.
- To install the harnessed seat:
- a. Simultaneously press the large red buttons located on both sides of the seat to unfold the backrest.
- b. Unfold the headrest by pushing the 2 red buttons on the back of the headrest inward, if it is folded down.
- c. Place the seat on the saddle making sure the knob under the seat is aligned with the slot in the saddle, so the knob can pass through the saddle.
- d. Turn the knob under the saddle 90 degrees to lock the seat to the saddle.
- To install the left and right safety bars:
- a. Make sure that the saddle is set to the low position (refer to step 5 above).
- b. Connect the corresponding ends of the left and right safety bars to the side openings located in the waist of the seat’s backrest, and push them in (until you hear a click).
- c. Rotate the left and right handlebars toward the seat by pressing the red buttons at the base of the handlebars.
- d. Connect the other ends of the left and right safety bars to the handlebars and push them until they click into place.

Align the ends of the canopy with the side openings located in the upper section of the seat’s backrest and push them in until they click into place.

To assemble the parent handle (push bar): Press the spring- loaded button to insert the upper section of the bar (handle section) into the lower section. Slide the upper section until the spring-loaded button clicks into one of the holes to lock the sections. The parent handle can be adjusted into 2 heights (100cm/ 103cm).
To install the parent handle (push bar) on the trike: Slide the security ring up the bar and carefully insert the bar through the holes located on the back of the seat, saddle, and trike frame. Push the parent handle down until the steering shaft at the end of the bar clicks into the trike frame. Slide the security ring down the bar and insert the tab on the ring into the slot in the backrest to secure the parent handle to the backrest.
NOTE: When the parent handle (push bar) is installed properly, the parent handle is connected with the handlebars and front wheel fork to allow parents to steer the trike.
- Slide the cup holder into the dedicated slot on the parent handle (push bar).
Don’t overload the cup holder. 900g (2lbs) max. Overloading the cup holder may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
Make sure the seat and safety bars are securely locked before each use.
Secure your child on the infant trike
– The 5-point harness system is set on the seat; adjust the slider on each strap before first use. The shoulder straps and the waist straps should fit firmly around the child. – To buckle, slot the end of the shoulder strap to the end of the waist strap; do the same on both left and right sides. – Then, insert both components to the buckle housing on the between-leg strap until you hear a click. – Double check it is securely locked and all 5 straps are well fit to the child. – The saftey belt on the backrest can be adjusted to 2 heights.
Always fasten with the 5-point harness while using the trike with the seat on it.
Secure the child in the harness at all times.
How to operate the freewheel mode
• The front wheel has two modes of operation: – Unlocked mode: When the pedals are turning independently from the front wheel (freewheel). – Locked mode: When the pedals and the front wheel are connected together and move as one.
• To put the front wheel in unlocked mode (freewheel), locate the side of the front wheel with the large red button marked with the unlock icon. Turn the front wheel until one of the arrows around the front wheel hub is aligned with the dot on the button, and then push the button until you hear a click.
• To put the front wheel in locked mode, locate the side of the front wheel with the large red button marked with the lock icon. Turn the front wheel until one of the arrows around the front wheel hub is aligned with the dot on the button, and then push the button until you hear a click.
:::warning[Warning!] Freewheel function is to be used only with the parent handle (push bar).
Check that the push bar (parent handle) is locked in position before use.
Automatic freewheeling ensures the tricycle can be pushed safely while the child’s feet rest on the pedals without the pedals turning. :::
How to operate the parking devices
Use the parking devices to lock the rear wheels and keep the trike stationary when required.
• To lock the parking devices, stop the trike and push down the red parking device on the left wheel with your foot. Once you hear a click, the parking devices will be locked and the trike will remain stationary.
• To unlock the parking devices, push down the red parking device on the right wheel with your foot. Once you hear a click, the parking devices will be unlocked and the trike will be mobile
:::warning[Warning!] The parking devices located on the rear wheels are NOT TO BE USED TO SLOW DOWN the trike. The left parking device is designed to put the trike into a stationary mode after stopping the trike. The parking devices are not designed for other purposes. Using the parking devices to slow down the trike will cause irreparable damage to the rear wheels’ mechanism and must be avoided at all times :::
How to operate the handlebar lock mechanism
To operate the handlebar lock mechanism, observe the recommended settings below. • For infant trike: While facing the front of the trike, push the handlebar lock on the handlebar column to your right to enable front wheel steering only on the parent handle (push bar).
• For guided trike, training trike and balance bike: While facing the front of the trike, push the handlebar lock on the handlebar column to your left to enable front wheel steering on both the handlebars and the parent handle (push bar).
Transforming INFANT TRIKE to GUIDED TRIKE (18-36 months)
In guided trike mode, your child will start to use the pedals. Ensure that his/her feet are resting correctly and flat on the pedals. – Remove the parent handle (push bar) from the trike by pressing the red release button on the bottom rear of the trike frame and sliding the bar out. – Remove the left and right safety bars from the handlebars by sliding the release buttons under the handlebars. – Under the saddle, turn the knob 90 degrees to unlock and remove the harnessed seat. – Reattach the parent handle (push bar) to the trike by sliding the security ring up the bar, and inserting the bar through the holes located on the back of the saddle and trike frame. Push the parent handle down until the steering shaft at the end of the bar clicks into the trike frame. – Press the red buttons at the base of the handlebars to rotate the handlebars toward the front.
To avoid scratches or injury, slide the security ring down the parent handle (push bar)until the ring sits on the saddle.
While facing the front of the trike, push the handlebar lock on the handlebar column to your left to enable front wheel steering on both the handlebars and the parent handle (push bar). – Store the harnessed seat for the next child:
- a. Simultaneously press the large red buttons located on both sides of the seat to fold the backrest.
- b. Remove the left and right safety bars from the seat by pressing the 2 red release buttons on the lower back of the backrest.
- c. Attach the safety bars to the 2 loops on the back of the backrest.
- d. Pinch the 2 red tabs together on the back of the headrest to fold it backward.
- e. Fold the canopy toward the back
C. Transforming GUIDED TRIKE to TRAINING TRIKE (24-36 months)
When your child is old enough to pedal, remove the parent handle (push bar) and put the front wheel in locked mode to allow front wheel pedalling.

Press the red button on the bottom rear of the trike frame to remove the parent handle (push bar).

Put the front wheel in locked mode (refer to the section “HOW TO OPERATE THE FREEWHEEL MODE”).

Remove the footrest by turning the knob under the footrest 90 degrees and pressing the spring-loaded button on the left side of the footrest.

While facing the front of the trike, make sure the handlebar lock on the handlebar column is pushed to your left to enable front wheel steering on the handlebars.
Store the parent handle (push bar) in a safe place. Keep out of the reach of children.
D. Transforming TRAINING TRIKE to BALANCE BIKE (2-5 years)
When your child has mastered his/her coordination and balance on the training trike, remove the pedals and transform the rear wheels to allow your child to ride the product as a balance bike:

Press the red buttons under the legs to remove the rear wheels.

Turn the rear wheels over and reinsert them into the same legs so that the wheels are facing inward (facing each other) and the parking devices are facing down towards the ground, and push firmly until the wheels click into place.

Remove the pedals by pressing the pedal release buttons on the front wheel hub. Press the red buttons under the saddle to insert the pedals into the dedicated holes on the back of the saddle for storage.

While facing the front of the trike, make sure the handlebar lock on the handlebar column is pushed to your left to enable front wheel steering on the handlebars.

Adjust the saddle height if required. Your child must be able to place his/her feet comfortably on the ground to stop the bike.

Braking for balance bike: The balance bike can be braked with the feet. The child can stop the movement by stopping walking or running. Make sure your child is always able to stop at the speed produced and wears suitable footwear.
Do not use in traffic. Protective equipment must be worn. Make sure your child always wears safety equipment (helmet, elbow pads, kneepads and gloves).
Folding the EXPLORER TRIKE (trolley mode)
The trike folds up for easy transport. For infant trike, follow all the steps below. For guided trike, follow step 1. For training trike, skip to step 3. For balance bike, skip to step 4.

Fold the footrest up, if they are installed on the trike.

To fold the harnessed seat (infant trike):
- a. Slide the release buttons under the left and right handlebars to remove the safety bars from the handlebars.
- b. Press the red buttons at the base of the handlebars to rotate the handlebars up.
- c. Slide the security ring up the push bar to unlock the parent handle from the backrest of the seat.
- d. Simultaneously press the large red buttons on both sides of the seat to fold the backrest.
- e. Fold the canopy toward the back.
- f. Pinch the 2 red tabs together on the back of the headrest to fold it backward.

Press the red buttons at the base of the handlebars to rotate the handlebars toward the back.

Balance bike only: Press the red buttons under the legs to remove the rear wheels. Turn the rear wheels over and reinsert them into same the legs so that the wheels are facing outward and the parking devices are facing up towards the ceiling, and push firmly until the wheels click into place.

To fold the legs of the rear wheels, press and hold the red button on the rear of the trike frame, push the corresponding leg down and rotate the leg until it points forward. Repeat the procedure on the other leg.

Trolley mode:
- a. If the parent handle (push bar) is removed, you can attach the parent handle to the back of the folded trike to push/pull in trolley mode.
- b. While facing the front of the trike, push the handlebar lock on the handlebar column to your right to enable front wheel steering only on the parent handle (push bar).
Unfolding the EXPLORER TRIKE
Follow the steps below to unfold the trike from trolley mode. For infant trike, follow all the steps below. For guided trike, skip to step 2 For training trike and balance bike, skip to step 3.

To unfold the harnessed seat:
- a. Press the red buttons at the base of the handlebars to rotate the handlebars toward the front.
- b. Simultaneously press the large red buttons located on both sides of the seat to unfold the backrest.
- c. Unfold the headrest.
- d. Press the red buttons at the base of the handlebars to rotate the handlebars toward the back.
- e. Connect the left and right safety bars to the handlebars and push them until they click into place.
- f. Slide the security ring down the parent handle (push bar) and insert the tab on the ring into the slot in the backrest to secure the parent handle to the backrest.
- g. Adjust the canopy to the desired position.

To unfold the legs of the rear wheels, use the red buttons on the rear of the trike frame. Press and hold the red button to rotate the corresponding leg until it is fully extended (you hear a click). Release the button to lock the leg securely in place. Repeat the procedure on the other leg.

Unfold the footrest, if required by the trike mode.

Balance bike only: Press the red buttons under the legs to remove the rear wheels. Turn the rear wheels over and reinsert them into the same legs so that the wheels are facing inward (facing each other) and the parking devices are facing down towards the ground, and push firmly until the wheels click into place.
Push the handlebar lock into the suitable setting for the trike mode to enable or disable front wheel steering on the handlebars and/or parent handle (push bar) (refer to the section “HOW TO OPERATE THE HANDLEBAR LOCK MECHANISM”).
IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

Never leave the child unattended.
-
Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
-
Do not let the child play with this product in infant trike mode.
-
This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months.
-
Always use the restraint system.
-
Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use;
-
This product is not suitable for running or skating;
-
Don’t attach any carrying accessory, Load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest and/or on the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle.
-
The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing the child.
-
The child is never to be left in the tricycle unattended.
-
The child restraint system that is supplied with the tricycle is to be used.
-
If a parcel bag other than one recommended by the manufacturer is used, then the tricycle may become unstable.
-
The tricycle will become unstable if the manufacturer’s recommended load is exceeded.
-
The tricycle will become unstable if a parcel bag or parcel rack is used when there is no provision for one.
Inspection, maintenance and cleaning
- Check all hardware during usage period and tighten as required. It is particularly important that this procedure be followed at the beginning of each use. If these checks are not carried out, the trike could overturn or otherwise become a hazard. Replacement should be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Clean trike with a slightly damp cloth (cold water) and mild soap. Never use a corrosive or abrasive substance to clean the product.
- Vehicle shall be used only for one child at at time and only for the purpose for which it has been designed.
- Accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used.
- Only replacement parts supplied or recommended by the manufacturer/distributor shall be used
General instructions of use:
- Prior to use, make sure that the product has been assembled properly. Check all the connection elements: steering column; footrest; seat; safety belt; safety ring must be correctly adjusted and make sure that the locking mechanisms are securely locked. Check the product before the child rides to determine if there are any potentially hazardous parts or conditions.
- Children should be supervised by adult while riding this product. Special care should be taken to instruct children in safe riding.
- Do not use on the public highways, examples of safe riding area: To be used on flat and no gravel areas (playground, Public Square)
- Do not use this product near a staircase, on a slope, on a road or on a wet surface.
- More mobility child grows; the more potential hazards increase. At home, be sure to remove frames or mirrors hung too low and could break, and any object that could fall in the event of impact. Corner table can also be a danger.
- Do not allow more than one rider on the product at a time.
- Be sure the child wears clothes and appropriate footwear when using product.
- Be sure the rider keeps both hands on the handlebars for proper control.
- Do not allow the rider to wear anything that obstructs hearing and visibility, or which impairs the functioning of product.
- The product should be used with caution since skill is required to avoid falls or collisions causing injury to the user or third parties.
Maintenance and security:
- Security checks: check periodically the product to identify any loose or dislocated element particularly the wheels, pedals, seat and handlebars.
- Periodic cleaning will bring a good life. Wipe the product with a dry cloth if it has been soiled.
- Regularly check the condition of abrasion and avulsion.
- Regularly check that parts are not broken or damaged, if this happens, stop using this product.
- Regular checks can prevent an accident.
Warranty
The manufacturer warranties this product to be free of manufacturing defects for period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, tire, tube or cables, or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or storage.
This limited warranty will be void if the product is ever:
- used in a manner other than for recreation or transportation;
- modified in any way;
- rented
The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product.
Globber does not offer an extended warranty. If you have purchased an extended warranty, it must be honoured by the store at which it was purchased.
